EY Foundation and UiPath launch Tech Futures programme

The EY Foundation has collaborated with UiPath, a global leader in Robotic Process Automation on a Tech Smart Futures programme. In April 2021, Tech Smart Futures will give twenty students paid work experience, opportunities to gain a variety of transferable skills and help them identify their next step, whether that’s university, college, an apprenticeship or a job, whilst receiving guidance and advice from a mentor throughout the programme.

In addition, UiPath will sponsor five employability workshops, offering our EY Foundation alumni and younger students the opportunity to learn about careers in tech and the skills they can bring to this growing and exciting sector.

UiPath will foster connections to young people across the UK, strengthening its commitment to empowering young people through access to technology, as well as developing its understanding of the challenges young people may face when considering careers in tech.

This is a very exciting partnership and we are looking forward to building this programme with more tech organisations over the coming months, generating impressive impact for both young people and tech employers.

We are delighted to be working with UiPath on our Tech Futures programme. This new programme is the EY Foundation’s largest employer collaboration, which brings together technology companies from across the sector to help young people into work. With a rapidly changing labour market in the UK, roles in technology are expected to grow significantly, so this relationship will help ensure the young people we support gain relevant skills and experience to access the jobs of the future.

We are thrilled to be a part of EY Foundation’s Tech Futures programme, helping young people to kick start into a flourishing career in an exciting, rapidly growing market. UiPath’s vision and mission to accelerate human achievement and unlock human potential by empowering talent is exactly supporting EY Foundation’s goal to help and develop talents with 21st century skills to unlock their potential and build long-term value for them.
