Meet our amazing board of Trustees.

Our Trustees support us in making strategic and policy decisions. Two members of our Youth Advisory Board also sit on the Board as young Trustees.

David Gittleson

 

David is the Managing Partner of EY’s Advisory practice across Europe, Middle East, India and Africa. The business has revenues of around $3bn and 25,000 people who help corporates and governments address the competitive, social, regulatory and disruptive forces impacting them. He has also led the development of the digital, analytics and cyber capabilities in EMEIA for Advisory.

 

Prior to joining EY in 2004, David spent 15 years at Coopers & Lybrand, PwC and IBM focused on financial services consulting. He specialised in finance transformation, risk management and performance improvement. He ran the EMEIA FSO Advisory practice for six years from 2010 before taking his current role in July 2016.



Julianna Oladipo

Julianna is a Director at EY UK.  She has spent her career in the pensions industry, supporting employers and trustee boards with strategy, policy and governance of their pension arrangements.

 

Julianna works with both the EY UK&I and Financial Services leadership teams to lead on the strategic direction for pensions and, in 2018, spearheaded the launch of the new financial wellness proposition for all EY staff in the UK.

 

Julianna is passionate about racial and social equality and the need to create a level playing field where all young people can succeed and achieve their full potential.



Mark Hutchinson

Mark Hutchinson    

 

Mark is a former EY Partner, who retired from the firm in 2018, to focus on a portfolio career.  He has a long-held belief that business should be an agent for long-term economic development and social change. He is a Director of Truestone, a Social Impact Fund, focused on building SME businesses in West Africa. He works with Renewable Energy developers in Southern Africa and is also a board advisor and investor in a number of early and scale-up stage technology companies in the UK, through his own company, Muntjac Ventures.

 

As a mentor to a number of young people who have recently entered the workplace for the first time, he is a strong advocate for firms embracing diversity and creating equal opportunity for uniquely talented individuals, regardless of background.



Patrick Dunne

 

Patrick is the Chair of boards’ consultancy Boardelta and of ESSA (Education Sub Saharan Africa) – and founder of Warwick in Africa. Patrick's executive career was in Chemicals and Private Equity, where he was a member of international investor 3i Group plc's Operating Committee. 

 

Patrick is a Visiting Professor at Cranfield School of Management and trustee of the Chartered Management Institute.  He is the author of the award-winning book "Boards"; a patron and former Chair of Leap Confronting Conflict, and a former member of the General Council of the University of Warwick.



Peter Wallace

 

Peter has had a varied career with EY, working with clients across a number of sectors. He is currently a Partner based in Edinburgh, although spends a lot of time on the road in London, Manchester, Nottingham and over in India.

 

Away from EY, Peter has been a trustee of the Prince’s Teaching Institute for over 10 years and has also worked as an advisor to the Audit and Risk Committee of Big Society Capital.



Rebecca Robins    

 

Rebecca is Global Chief Learning and Culture Officer for Interbrand. She heads up the Interbrand Academy – a global centre of excellence in learning and development, in collaboration with partners including Microsoft, Harvard Business School and UCL. As Global Luxury Sector lead, she is involved with the Best Global Brands study and has worked across all industries, with clients including Burberry, LEGO and LVMH.

 

Rebecca writes extensively on brands and culture, business transformation, luxury and the future of learning, co-authoring the FT acclaimed book, "Meta-Luxury: Brands and the Culture of Excellence". Culture and learning are at the heart of her wider commitments to education and she guest lectures at universities around the world.  She is inspired by what it means to be human in business and life, in a world of exponential tech, and believes in cultures of collaboration, kindness and learning, as deeply human forces for change for good.



Rosehanna Chowdhury

 

Rosehanna is a senior civil servant. She has led large scale national and international projects, leading teams in national emergencies and through department-wide change transformation. She has held senior roles in the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government, the Cabinet Office and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, advising Ministers on policy development.

 

Rosehanna is also the Civil Service Champion for Schools Engagement and a Governor at the London School of Economics (LSE), as well as a co-founder and chair for the LSE Civil Service, Government and Public Policy Alumni Group.

 

Rosehanna has an LLB and LLM from LSE. She holds a University of Cambridge Science and Policy Fellowship and is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (FRSA).



Sara Fowler

 

Sara is a chartered accountant and former partner with Ernst & Young (EY), a practising member of the Academy of Experts and a CEDR accredited mediator. She worked at EY for 30 years, was a partner for 17 years and senior partner for EY Midlands for seven years.

 

Sara holds several non-executive director roles at organisations such as St Basil’s, a charity and registered housing association in Birmingham, Mpac Group plc and BHSF, a non-profit provider of affordable health insurance.

 

Previously she was on the board of the Compulsory Purchase Association, a not-for-profit member organisation that promotes best and effective practice in delivering land for infrastructure, housing and regeneration.



Sayeh Ghanbari

 

Sayeh leads EY’s Business Consulting team in the UK – a 1,200+ strong team of talented consultants that help their clients tackle their toughest challenges and deliver long term value for their stakeholders. She is also co-chair for Diversity and Inclusion for EY UK.

 

Sayeh is an advocate for equality of access to opportunities.  In addition to her Trustee role for the EY Foundation, she also sits on the Board of Women in Science and Engineering. She is a martial artist (Tiger Crane Kung Fu), science, maths and language geek, art lover and an amateur travel photographer.
